The Muscogee County CRCT results reveal that many schools need improvement, particularly in math, science, and social studies.

The results show that students in 12 schools exceeded the county average on all subjects at every grade level. Those schools were: Blanchard, Britt David, Clubview, Double Churches, Eagle Ridge Mathews, and North Columbus at the Elementary level.  At the middle school level Arnold, Blackmon Road, Midland, and Veterans Memorial all met or exceeded county averages.

At the other end of the spectrum were 13 schools who failed to meet the county average on all subjects at every grade level.  Those schools were: Brewer, Cusseta Road, Dawson, Forrest Road, Fox, Lonnie Jackson, Muscogee, South Columbus, and Wesley Heights at the elementary level.  At the middle school level Baker, Eddy, Fort, and Marshall all failed to meet the meet the county average on all subjects at every grade level.

Some notable schools were Britt David Elementary which saw an almost 100 percent rate of passing in every grade in every subject. The only exceptions being 4th grade science (98.9 pass rate), 5th grade science (97.8 pass rate), and 5th grade social studies (98.9 pass rate).

Brewer Elementary had some of the worst 5th grade test scores in the county, with almost 93% of 5th graders failing social studies, 82.6% failing science, and 60.3 % failing at math.

Eddy Middle school showed strength in math at 6th, 7th, and 8th grades but came up short in science and social studies with no grade exceeding the county average in those subjects.
